Please mark your calendars! BOUSD is partnering with the City of Brea, the Brea Police Department and the Brea Fire Department to host an important community meeting on the topic of emergency preparedness in the event of an active school shooter. 

The event will take place on Wednesday, April 11th from 7 - 8:30 p.m. at Brea Olinda High School in the Performing Arts Center. 

BOUSD along with the City of Brea, the Brea Police Department, the Brea Fire Department will present valuable safety information at this important community meeting.  You will learn about comprehensive emergency planning coordinated with between the City and the School District; the unified response in an emergency; how to talk to your students before during and after an incident; how you can help and the importance of the "See something, Say Something" effort.

Emergency preparedness and response is a community effort.  Please plan on attending and pass on the information to other interested community members.
